PLACING AN ORDER
Browsing our site and placing an order couldn’t be easier.
Use the main category listings on the left hand side of the site – these lead into sub-categories where all the titles in that category are shown in detail. When you locate the title of your choice, clicking on the image icon will display more information on the title plus an enlarged picture.
Alternatively, you can use the key word search facility at the top of each page on the site. This will help you find subjects in which you are particularly interested, e.g. type in Spitfire or Arnhem to locate all the products we stock on these subjects. If you know the unique product code number, typing this in will take you straight to your choice.
Once you have found the title of your choice, click the ‘add to basket’ icon and this will be placed in your basket. You will then be able to continue shopping. Should you wish to change your order in any way, you can do this by clicking on the ‘view basket’ icon.
PROCESSING AN ORDER
When you wish to complete your order, please click on the ‘go to checkout’ icon, where your order will be displayed. You will then be taken through the order processing procedures.
Please note that the payment is processed on behalf of Simply Home Entertainment, and the name that will appear on your credit card or bank statement will be shown as Simply Home Shopping.
You will also receive an e-mail from Simply Home Entertainment to confirm that we have received and are processing your order.

PRICING POLICY
We endeavour to provide you with our best prices at all times. However, occasionally, it may be that our prices are incorrect. Please note that receipt by us of your order constitutes an offer by you to buy. There is no contract between Simply Home Entertainment and yourself until the goods are dispatched from our warehouse. If we find, therefore, that we made an error in the price we charged for a title, we do not have to accept the price stated on your order but can offer the goods to you at the correct price.

DELIVERY TIMES
We endeavour to fulfil your order as soon as possible. If your order is in stock in our warehouse, this will be dispatched to you immediately. If goods are temporarily out of stock, your order will be placed on back order and will be dispatched as soon as stock is available. You will be advised by e-mail should your order be subject to an unacceptable delay.
PLEASE NOTE THAT YOUR CREDIT/DEBIT CARD WILL BE NOT DEBITED UNTIL YOUR GOODS LEAVE OUR WAREHOUSE.
CANCELLING ORDERS
You have the right to cancel the contract at any time up to the end of seven working days after you receive the goods, provided that the goods are unused and returned in the condition received. A working day is any day other than Saturday or Sunday and bank/other public holidays in the UK.
To exercise this right of cancellation, please notify us in writing by post, fax or e-mail giving details of the item(s) to be returned. Our address details are displayed on the ‘contact us’ tab. Please return the goods to us at your cost, taking care that they are not damaged in transit.
We will refund your credit debit card with the cost of the cancelled item(s) within 30 days of notification of cancellation. However, should you fail to return the goods; we reserve the right to charge you the direct costs of recovering the item(s).
RETURNS POLICY

No further address details are required on the returned package, however you must clearly write this in capital letters. Royal Mail have assured us this address is sufficient, however we do recommend that you ask the Post Office for a free certificate of posting, and keep this safe in case of any queries.

On receipt of your returned goods, your account will be credited or a replacement ordered for you.

CREDIT POLICY
If you pay for your goods by credit/debit card, any refund will be credited to your credit/debit card on receipt of the returned goods.
If you pay for your goods by cheque, the value of the refund will be held on your account for future use. If, however, you require a cheque refund at any time, please advise us by phone or in writing and this will be processed.

PRIVACY POLICY
We are committed to upholding your right of privacy under the terms of the Data Protection Act 1998 and will only use the information we collect from you lawfully to process your order and ensure that you receive the very best in customer service. We will not send you unsolicited e-mails and will always give you the option of refusing marketing e-mails designed to keep you up to date with new releases and special offers. We do not pass your details on to any third party companies without first obtaining your consent to do so.
The details we require for processing an order are your name, address, delivery address (if different), e-mail address and credit card details. The information we hold will be, to the best of our knowledge, correct and up to date but you can check this by e-mailing us at info@simplyhe.co.uk. Any amendments to your details would be updated at that time.
All credit card information you give us to process an order on the Internet is encrypted at your browser before it is sent to us. On receipt, it is stored on our in-house secure servers separately from our Internet servers.
We may at our discretion record telephone calls for the purposes of staff training and quality control. However, all tapes will be erased after review.
USE OF COOKIES

THE PREMIER SERVICE
Established in 1993, the Premier Service offers discounted DVDs and videos to its thousands of customers.
Members receive a FREE monthly magazine featuring the latest releases as well as a wide selection of other rare and hard-to-find titles. All titles offered are guaranteed to be at least 20% off the recommended retail price. Some are discounted by far more – some at less than half price!
Membership is free and you’re not obliged to buy any titles at all during your membership – although you will be tempted by the combination of exclusive member’s low prices, special offers and the latest and rarer titles on offer.
Membership of the Club is limited to UK and BFPO residents over the age of 18.
You may apply for membership on-line by e-mailing info@simplyhe.co.uk but the discounts are only available on orders placed by phone or post – we currently anticipate to launch the internet service for our members by the end of 2009.
DVD CLASSIFICATION
All DVDs released in the United Kingdom are subject to the rules governing the Video Recordings Act. The British Board of Film Classification certificates all titles and these certificates are clearly shown on both the packaging and the disc/tape as well as on the Simply Home Entertainment site. It is unlawful for the supply of any title to a person under the age of the certification, e.g. an 18 certificated product to a person under the age of 18. For your information, the certification is as follows:
18 18 Years – suitable only for persons of 18 years and over
15 15 Years – suitable only for persons of 15 years and over
12 12 Years – suitable only for persons of 12 years and over
PG Parental Guidance – general viewing but some scenes may be unsuitable for young children
U Universal – suitable for all ages
Uc Universal – particularly suitable for children
E Exempt from classification by the British Board of Film Classification.
